Information we collect

When you contact ECM or submit a deer recovery request, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, property or nearby road address, county, map links, uploaded map screenshots, shot and tracking information, property-access details, typed acknowledgment name, and other information you choose to provide.

How we use it

We use this information to review the requested service, evaluate location and operational constraints, communicate with you, determine availability, plan an accepted search, document the request and acknowledgment, provide the service, and maintain appropriate business records. We do not use deer recovery intake information for aerial scouting or to assist in taking live wildlife.

Storage and access

Deer recovery submissions and uploaded map screenshots are stored using the website platform’s protected database and file-storage services. They are not displayed publicly. Access to the submission-review area is restricted to ECM’s authorized owner account. Website and infrastructure providers may process information as needed to host, secure, and operate the site.

Sharing

ECM does not sell personal information or add deer recovery request information to a marketing list. Information may be shared when reasonably necessary to provide a requested service, comply with law, respond to lawful authorities, protect safety or property, or operate the website through service providers acting on ECM’s behalf.

Retention and your choices

ECM keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for service, recordkeeping, legal, safety, and business purposes. You may ask to review, correct, or delete information you submitted, subject to records ECM must retain. Avoid submitting highly sensitive information that is not needed for the request.
